The Birth of a K'iu-Lung
After a lung has reached the age of five hundred years old it transforms into a k'iu-lung. [1] A K'iu-lung can also be born from a sea plant called hai-lu. [1]
Physical Description
The K'iu-Lung are Blue Chinese dragons [2] with horns. [1] Even without wings, they fly upward into the sky. [3] After a K'iu-Lung lives to be one thousand years, it transforms into a Ying-Lung. [1]
K'iu-Lung inhabit pools with gavial and fish, and if one is drained off, the k'iu-lung and its blessings with disappear. [2]
