Books: Dragon Prince, Sunrunner's Fire, and The Star Scroll
Review: Rawn writes a bit differently that I am used to. Unlike some, she does not fully explain certain aspects of the novel until later. In the beginning, the book my seem a bit mysterious and perhaps confusing because of this, but things such as the Sunrunner's magic is explained later. I think this different method of story telling is quite good.
The characters in this novel are quite good, though some are a bit flat. However, most of them are complex and therefore the novels are quite interesting. The plot is a great one, so I highly recommend at least the first novel to those who like mysteries.
However, a note on dragons: while they play a role in the novel, they are not as prominant as the title would make you think.
