About the Artwork:
At the edge of an enchanted forest, the magical creatures of both the air and the sea meet. The mermaids greet a dragon that drinks at their pool. The subtle additions, like the fox chasing the fairies or even the tree of a woman/flame, hint at the cycle of death, rebirth, and generation that takes place within the enchanted realm.

About the Artist:
Meredith Dillman earned her BFA degree in Illustration from Minnesota State University. She works and lives in Minnesota, USA, where she creates woodland creatures and fantasy-themed landscapes. She paints primarily in watercolor, and her art has been published in various books and journals.
