Steps to Getting an Award

After you carefully read the rules (previous page) and the requirements and suggestions (next page), you may fill out the form on the final page.
Your site will be reviewed by me and one other, usuaully a friend of mine. This will allow us to catch everything on your site fully.
You will be scored as show in the below section.
Within four weeks, you will recieve an e-mail. If you have one, you should be informed within the first two weeks; if you have lost, you will probably be informed the later two weeks with suggestions.

Scoring
Your website will be rated on a 150 point scale and be given a percentage. This is based on Grammar and Spelling, Content, Layout, Creativity, and HTML. Each of these five sections has its own number of points. Grammar and Spelling make up twenty points; Content makes up fifty points; Layout makes up twenty points; Creativity makes up thirty points; and HTML makes up thirty points.

To win all points awarded for each section, you must show that you have extraordinary feats in that area. For instance, to get fifty points for content you'll need to show excellent content on your website. If a website is translated into English from another language, there will be more leeway giving in the Grammar and Spelling section.

To win The Magnificent Hatchling Award, you will need to score 85% or higher, at least 128 points total. To win The Award for Artistc Excellence, you will need to score 90% or higher and have superb, orginal graphics and/or stories. The Orb of Dragon Knowledge is only given to those who score at least 90% and provide a wealth of information about a subject. Finally, The Flight of the Dragon Award can be won in two ways. The first is by recieving it without application, which is only for a few sites. The second is throught his program, where the site must score at least 95% and show amazing quality.
