Rules

Basic Rules - must be followed!

1. Your site must be based on dragons or have a section based on dragons. If you have a fantasy site, that is fine too.
2. Your site can not contain any adult material of any kind. I don't mind gore, so long as it is in a story or something, but I don't want porn or adult-oriented sites. Period.
3. Your site can not be just a bunch of graphics and links. If the graphics were made by you, I would expect there would be some information on them. It is okay to have a gallery or a links page, but that can not be the only basis of you page.
4. You must give credit where credit is due. This means that you can not have stolen materials of any kind on your site, and you must provide links back to pages where they are required.
5. Your backgrounds must compliment your text. This means that I have to be able to read your page without highlighting anything.
6. Your website must load quickly. I do have a cable modem, but some have applied to this program with sites that take way too long to load.
7. I will give every website four chances, but if it crashes my Mozilla or my computer twice, I will not review your site. My computer is quite reliable, as is my browser; thus, websites that repeatedly crash them usually have some sort of fault of their own.

Disqualifying Items - if your site has any of the following, it will automatically be disqualified. No questions asked.

1. Adult content of any kind. The site must be viewable by a small child. Exceptions will be made for art sites with nudity, so long as all pictures are label.
2. Excessive swearing is not permitted. If you have swears that are within a story, that does not bother me.
3. Promoting hate of any kind is simply not acceptable. I don't want to read any of the like.
4. Sites with illigal materials or stolen items will be disqualified and reported.
5. Any site having only links and graphics will not be considered. If the artwork is your own, you should tell me more about it!
6. Any site that is not based on dragons or fantasy. These awards are for people who have sites related to this one. Any kind of other site will not be considered.
7. Please avoid opening every link in a new window. There are some sites that do this, and it drives me insane. Using it sometimes is understandable, but using it all the time will get you disqualified.

At any point I might update these rules. Please note that I am only human and I can only get the awards out so fast. If you apply and do not get a response within two weeks, it means that you did not win. I should contact you on the third or fourth week with my comments and suggestions about improving your site. Please note that in some cases, if your site is unfit for this program, I will not provide such help. If you do not want my comments and suggestions, please tell me so in the coments box.

Furthermore, if you are willing to apply please fill out everything. You need an e-mail, a URL, and a description of your site. If you don't have those three things, why are you applying?
