Purpose
Confucious taught that, if a society had beautiful things, society would not wish to destroy. Having their own beauty, they can understand how precious it is; thus, they would not wish to harm what others deem beautiful, either. Thus, this award program has been created.

Being an avid internet user, I have found that there are several noteworthy websites on the internet. These sites, which are usually run by one or two devoted people, provide their visitors with information and beauty. This award program is here to compliment those who create, maintain, and labor over their superb websites.

Moreover, this program is also dedicated to helping other sites become sites of beauty. Even those who do no win an award will recieve a response, if they so chose. This will include suggestions and comments on their website that can help them grow. By doing this, this program aims to not only award those who have created original, informative websites but also to help aspiring webmasters to create more such sites.
