Physical Description:
The pegasus is decribed as a white horse with long, glorious white wings. The wings were feathered, and the creature was almost always denoted as shining white.
History:
The pegasus was first seen in Greek Mythology.
Stories/Denoted Characters:
Pegasus was the horse of the Muses. After Medusa was slaughtered, her blood mixed with the foam of the sea bore forth Pegasus. Bellerophon captured him and used him as a steed. With Pegasus, Bellerophon killed Chimera.
Bellerophon attempted to acend to Mount Olympus, which was deemed the Heavens. Pegasus promptly through him from his back and continued up by himself. There, Pegasus became a star constilation, known, of course, as Pegasus. Since Pegasus was at Mount Olympus, he served as the carrier of Zeus' Thunderbolts.
