About Chudo-Yudo

Chudo-Yudo spewed flame from his many heads. [1] He also controlled the weather, so in times of dire need, Russians blamed Chudo-Yudo for the shortage of water or rain. [2]

Some believe that Chudo-Yudo is a descendent of Baba Yaga, the giantess. [1] Others believe that the dragon is Baba Yaga in one of her many forms. Chudo-Yudo is related by blood to a dragon named Kashchei as well. [1]

Physical Description

Chudo-Yudo was a large dragon with many heads.
